First of all, a special mention to the servers that didn't even allow us to finish a match, good job.

Match 1

Early Discord, immediately played another when he double-Nova'd to Deflag my first Discord, clear win after dc.

Match 2
Kind of like match 1, including the dc.

Match 3
He deflagged my Discord quite early, I never drew another one but had a steady flow of BH and creatures that allowed me to outrush him - end game dc, as usual.

Good games Jonathan, sorry the servers didn't allow for more fun matches.

When I held novas back, he was too fast with creatures, when I went to play he always had a BH. Sanc never showed up. Shockwave showed up every single game, completely pointlessly. We expected SoFo and Oty, and built so it would stand a decent chance against CataTitans, and hoped this would stand an ok chance against DBH. It did not. Not with the hands I drew anyway. GGs inthisroom.

Running just one sanc in a rainbow vs Gravity is practically suicide.

Mm, Novabow has a slight edge against a low-offence DBH, but this Abom spam is a different story. Still, you had an alright chance if played right and draws had been decent. Too bad ya bricked, Wadurr. Gravy on a roll :>

Well, they went for the +8 upgrades for 0 salvage and it paid off. Too fast, too many Aboms. At least i know they aren't banking any of our novas
And yeah, probs should have brought moar sanc.

problem is you need to play 3 nova to be able to play sanc, that's difficult since it can't be done on the same turn and in-between either discord or BH can mess it up.

Oh yeah, what you really need are Thunderbolts and offence. DBH's entire problem with Nova is that it can't stop your offence or CC from coming out if you play right. It heals decently after 1 or 2 Novas, but it's not much in the long run.

Assuming DBH has 7-8 ttw, jcj should draw half of his deck. So sanc has 0.5 probability of not showing up in a match, or 12.5% probability of not drawing it in any game. It's still quite likely to happen, but if it was what the matchup was banked on it is pretty unlucky.

Ok now to beat DBH only 1 sanc is enough otherwise you is  pretty unlucky.

hehe, the point is we didn't know we would be facing DBH, but reasoned that just to give us a slim chance (and against BH splash), having a sanc could tilt tough games in our favour.
It not showing up at all in these games is a bit sad, not exactly unlucky, but sad

Not sure it was unlucky not to draw that Sanctuary, JCJ never got up to 3 quanta anywhere, he could only chain two Novae which were immediately BH'd every time he did so, there could have been 24 Sanctuaries in this deck, not sure it would have made a difference, I really had decent draws over all 3 matches.
