While I wouldn't call this a hard counter, I definitely had the deck advantage. My Rage Elixirs held off most of his damage, while his Lightnings were ineffective against my Phoenixes.

I suppose Root is correct as he won 3-1, but looking at the decks I'd like to think the 5 CC that can double as attacking spells and 12 creatures with 13 quanta could better compete if not topple a mono-fire like that.

The quantities still tell me to expect to draw 2 creatures per Rage-for-Root with a couple Lightning to stall a couple Phoenix attacks... in any case, congrats again to fire - Fire-upgrades so STRONG!!

We have mono and superior quanta. Each of those Rages generates some significant quanta advantage. Add that to a stream of Phoenixs and rising Fahren damage, and you see why Mono-Fire is sooo good
