A pretty nasty hard counter to vagman's huge deck.
Game 1: Right as the game went from 'Negociating...' to his mark popping up as Fire, I got the horrid feeling he was going to pull some intense fire-immo rush of doomsauce as an Entropy veteran. Turns out I was facing a stall instead with 45 cards on his side and 23 on mine (since the number on your deck doesn't count the cards in your hand).
I had a perfect draw of 3 pendulums with a dune and chaos power on standby. He won the coin toss... but only threw down a single pendulum. My first scorpion entered play unabashedly and got slapped silly with a Rage Potion - I followed up with another, and as the poison counter began to stack, I got the feeling that his hand was filled with more PC than CC. Eventually, I won out, without the use of my other tool... 1-0
Game 2: Similar to the first game in regards to draws on both our sides (with him having the same unfortunate 1 pendulum draw), but my Scorpions were taking a nap. However, I had an extra pendulum and
topdecked ALL of my Discords within the first few turns (which is insane, in my opinion). Because of his poor quanta start, my weapon managed to slice his health bar pretty badly before I tossed a Dune in play with Chaos Power.
His cards were all revealed during this battle - his Deflagrations popped my Discords which I then replaced, and he also placed Antimatter on a high ATK Dune (which I rewound back into my hand to replay with a fresh start). He also managed to play Dissipation Shield and even Fahrenheit, but by then he was already suffering from Neuropathy, and he couldn't do much damage. 2-0
[No screenie here I guess]
Game 3: 1 pendulum start on my side, while he threw everything out. Luckily though, I managed to play a Discord to disrupt his quanta long enough so that my first scorpion would enter play without a dissipation blocking it out. When he did play it however, I got nervous - only to realize that my negative-attack scorpion was still penetrating through the shield. I buffed its health up with another Chaos Power, and, ignoring the annoying healing effect, I finally sealed a 3-0 win.
Great games vag! Thanks again for the battle.
