About as close to a counter as we could get.
Game 1: You scared me when I saw the Air mark, thought it was Adrenastaves, and was kicking myself because I had been debating over whether to counter adrenastaves. Thankfully for me, it wasn't, and it was pretty easy from there.
Game 2-3: After the initial scare, I knew pretty much what the deck was, and that it couldn't touch dim shields. It was just a matter of not bottomdecking them, which I didn't, and won easily.

GGs Noobiecakes. Not fun to have to play against a solid counter.

GG. Pretty hard countered. Not much to say. A note that at the start of the third game my initial start has no quanta sources at all and remained so for the first three turns. >.>

There was willng3, watching the second match, watching hope slip away.  Losing was inevitable after a certain point and as expected, Life did lose.

But then willng3 attempted to remain optimistic, "Alright now this is where we turn the entire match up around and kill off a perfect counter against all odds!" he cried.

However, when the gods of fate heard that willng3's dreams had not been completely crushed already, they were displeased, "Who the hell's been telling this guy that miracles actually exist?"

And so it was that Noobiecakes drew 0 Pillars/Pendulums during his third game.
In all seriousness, if this kind of bad luck were to happen anywhere I would have preferred it be against a direct counter.  Good try Noobie, my fault for not following through with my first instinct.

If you missed this match... you can capture the entire experience by picturing a dragon made of granite jumping over a low flying wall of feathers and landing on a frog.  That really sums up what happened AND how it probably felt.  There is no :life without :earth , but it'd be lonely with just the rocks around here.  Best of luck team :life in your other matches.
