GGs, xdude, and very close ones too. First 3 games left us with 7 hp when we won. Total.
Game 1:
My hand was 6 quanta sources and a dimshield, which I knew was going to be a dead card against his Gravity mark most of the time. I did, however, test this matchup a lot since it was their only deck I felt threatened by, and knew that if I could Fractal early I would almost certainly win. I drew a Fractal into an Antlion late in the game, though, and put a full 8 of them out in 1 turn. Sadly he answered with 2 Titans and Crusaders, which had been on the field for longer. In the end I got him to 4 hp when I lost, meaning that had I drawn any creature at any point in the game (A drag or Golem instead of Antlion would have won too) or the Antlion 1 turn before I would have won. That said he got me.
Game 2:
Had a meh hand that got me a Golem turn 1 but had 2 dead dims and not much quanta. I drew into more of it thankfully, but sadly no Fractal to seal up the game. However, at one point I had 15
. My pends were on
but I knew if I drew Fractal next turn I could use it anyway so the quanta wouldn't matter, and it could potentially block some damage from a Crusader the turn before it Endows. As it happened, it did manage to block 2 damage, and I drew a Fractal 2 turns after, which allowed me to win. With 1 hp, which would have been a loss had I just ignored the dim on basis that it was useless when he had a Titan out.
Game 3:
Very good start with Golem and Fractal in hand, I could just draw quanta all game and win, and hoped to do so. He had no pends to start but topdecked 2 and they let him start strong with 2 'saders and a Titan. I had 3 Golems out at this point though and his hand was empty, so I knew he would have to topdeck something to win. As it happened he drew a titan to put me down to 2 hp, at which point I pressed space and sent my guys in to make it 2-1.
Game 4: Had a very good hand again, similar to above. He had lots of quanta but no Titan early, so I rolled him with a ton of Golems.
