1st Round: I got off to a great start. Slowed him down with Earthquake, got out two Gargoyles and a Dragon fairly early. He stole my Vamp Stiletto and played a Fog Shield. I stole the Stiletto back, he stole it back again. I got out a third Gargoyle and he played his own Black Dragon. I felt great. Then I watched as for three rounds straight, every creature I had got lost in the fog. Three Gargoyles and a Dragon lost to a Dragon and Vamp dagger in the mists. Klaymore should be put in charge of the US economy. He managed to turn a very rocky start with almost no resources into a solid win. I no longer felt great, as I couldn't expect a better start than I had this game, and still lost.
2nd Round: Klaymore started with two pendulums, which got Earthquaked. He played everything as best as he could, but couldn't overcome the slow start, and I slowly ate up his health.
3rd Round: I managed to keep his Air quanta down somewhat with Earthquake, but he had out three Devourerers that kept his Darkness quanta up for this game. Fog shield did it's magic, and he stole my Vamp Stiletto again. He dropped a Minor Vampire, then an Azure Dragon, and at the end a Black Dragon. I had out my usual array of Garg's, a few Dev's, and my Dragons, and was ahead in heath coming into the home stretch. I got out the Dusk Mantle just in time for some H4x Shield action of my own, as he dropped a Nightfall, and Liquid Shadowed both of his dragons to pull his heath back. This game was the closest game of the War for me, in the last two turns it was all down to who's H4x Shield could hold off the tide. This time, it was my turn for the lucky shield, and I pulled it out, with, as I recall, two health.
Great games. Very close. Well played by Klaymore. Good luck in your future matches.
