ok so first my deck
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52u 52u 52u 52u 52u 52u 55k 55k 55k 55k 55m 55m 55q 55q 55q 55q 55q 576 576 576 576
1 so first round i pulled out my deathstalker round2 and splashed a poison such that he started with 4 poison counters.  built up poison fast till he died pulled out sword near end when it was not needed but through it just for fun.  to bad his otys pulvi and earthquakes came late. (the nerve using gravity vs gravity  :P)

2 this one wound up being very close my deathstalkers cam out a bit late and his otys were right on top of them.  he also destroyed both my arcinics.  armagio was just one turn to late

3 was a breeze pulled out deathstalker round 2 with momentum next round used 2 poison and sent him to 8 counters early was still unable to pull out oty.  pout up sword round after that and poison counter climbed fast won with about 50-60 hp left

and now just because i can victory song

Man, these newbs are turning out to be new Antagons. My one has yet to lose a match after fighting Water(2-0) and Earth (2-1)

On another note, seems like Earth might have approached this War too lightly. Teams are way better prepared this time.

Sorry team, I've not been too much help so far. I just really wasn't expecting poison.

Code: [Select]
55q 55q 55r 55r 55r 55r 55r 58q 58q 58q 58q 58q 58t 58t 58t 58t 58v 58v 593 593 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa
Game 1: He won coin toss, so I started with eight cards. Six of them were pendulums, the other two were Plate Armor. My drawing continued like this till he killed me, and I don't think I drew a single Otyugh. I think he had an Arsenic and three momentumed Deathstalkers by the time he killed me, so you can guess my chances for that round.

Game 2: I had a relatively good draw, and his start was slightly slower. I got Hematite Golems quickly enough to keep up with his poison damage, my Otyughs were able to stay on top of his Stalkers, and my Pulverizer killed his Arsenics quickly. Even so, he had twelve poison counters on me by the time he died, and I would have died in two turns.

Game 3: He played two Poisons, a Deathstalker, and an Arsenic in the first couple turns, so despite my medium start I didn't have him much before he killed me. He still had over forty HP when we were done.

P.S. @GG, Terro bid on me, and you didn't up the ante :)

I think that it might be teams expecting less from the rookies, thus sending slightly inferior decks against them, even though the deck matters more than the player (unless it's a firestall or something)

Eh, most of our members were really inactive this round. We didn't really prepare properly. Our deck building topic is like half as long as the first one.

Or it could be that we don't expect anything less from rookies than we do from other members, as luck and deckbuilding (Which can be taken care of by the team) are the primary factors in elements, not skill. (Although it does admittedly get harder in an upgraded format)

I had completely seen a Scorpion deck coming, and had figured that eliminating the source would cut it low enough to win so long as otys pulled out, but it appears they did not in 2/3 of the matches. Oh well, nice try Koru, gratz to the win Indre
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
