Game 1 Deck went as expected, I din't see much of his but it looked like a fail draw with quanta flood 1-0.
Game 2 Got little water quanta and only 1 NT which got bolted on the spot.  By the time I got another nymph going it was too late. 1-1
Game 3 All went fine but I got opposition that time. 2-1.
Game 4 He used his death +darkness nymph to stop me from poping nymph by the ton and poisoned his doll to my death, was countered 2-2
Game 5 He only had a black nymph out while every turn I was popping a new nymph, I neverhad the quanta to pop 2 but needed to use it on water so I could contine the chain while I pray he didnt get a bb/lightning to stop me.  In the end, he ran out of shield and I got the upper hand!

In the last match, I got just enough quanta to play the second black nymph as the shield ran out. A second nova at any time would've cinched it. Well played paper, and well earned victory by air. Though I do think our original version of the deck might've fared a little better, hehe. Good games!

Srsly tho, decks like these are not really a problem. Yes, you can force out a suboptimal version of a mono, but that has failed every time it's been tried this war because having no mark is a serious blow to a deck's quanta consistency. Or you could make a duo like this, but then you need specific combinations and can't use too many cards (this one has only 7 non-pillar cards). The drawback is enough to justify keeping an awesome option for creative deckbuilding.

Honestly it was either a suicide deck or this lol. Tinkerer is great for late war. I probably shouldn't reveal this, but in order for a comeback for us to even be remotely possible, Aether needed to go 2-0 this round to help us with the Darkness threat. xD

But that'd remove so many awesome decks. Immonymphs, Zap Splash Mono Fire, Darkness's SoP Duo. IMO the current iteration made for more creative decks.

Yes, but that's why there are specific elements. A tinkerer mono fire from a different element doesn't really fit in to that specific element. Tinkerer is a great boost, but can easily be taken advantage from.

We could also let every team to use any cards. Lets call it the joker boost? Of course, we would only let one player per team per round, because we don't want it to be overpowered and this is still an element based event, right?
