:( I wish there were more of an explanation for this decision beyond mysterious evidence presented by the team that was awarded the win. I suppose more effort will have to be put into scheduling from here on out. I wish war could be just about dueling ability but sadly organizational skills play a big part as well (just ask team water).

just skimmed the topic and came to this:

I asked both teams to front then and there to duel. The original opponent tttt, was able to duel and neither was Sevs.
Napalm was ready to play if a game could get done right then and there. It could not be done so I ruled based on the aformentioned effort shown by fire.

Fire was given the win without salvage. Play on.
I'd like to note, after the deadline kael asked me in chat "what's your excuse for not doing the match" or something of the kind. At this point someone suggested doing the match right then, and I was available at the time. I didn't see kael saying he wanted the duel to be done after the deadline, neither was expecting it, as rules don't mention extensions.

Sevs' post is almost all of what i would have said so i will only say this:
Would someone please explain me how you guys measure effort?(hours of looking for your opponent against appearing at last moment, while we had one of our own on 10 minutes before duel time but he had to go?)
