Many congrats to Aether for drawing this War to a close; my condolences to Time for not being able to hit the mark. Nonetheless, a War well played by both teams and they should be proud of themselves!

For what it's worth, I really wanted to play this dark duo because it had better win rates than grabbow in our testing. However, dark duo had the possibility of being hard countered. So we went with grabbow since it had the possibility of beating anything time could throw at us.

Thank you for taking this in the spirit it was intended--not to detract one iota from your strategy, skill or spirit which brought home the victory.  And thank you for the inside look at your decision-making from the final round.  Winning is winning and in your shoes I would have likely chosen the same deck.  It was more a comment on the game/event as it stands--reviewing the last so many wars, you will encounter a large number of grabbows (for better or worse.)  The formula works so I suspect we'll be seeing it for a long time to come, failing a ban by the rules (<--highly unlikely.)  The good news is we are seeing a variety of elements represented on the winner's podium which argues there is a good degree of parity among the elements and their fans.
