Game #1: = LOSS
I looked at his deck - earth mark, pends, 35 cards, so its a stall running stoneskin, probably fractal and perhaps Dims. So I should save my CC, but in chat kev told me I was supposed to win by damage, so I obeyed my fearless leader and threw down Demons and CC'd his wardens all in an effort to get a win by damage. Sadly it wasn't to be, he got his dragons out and fractalled and without any CC remaining I got steamrolled.
Game #2 = WIN
After many many desynchs we finally got a game. And while he dropped the fractal again my demons and TStorms held the fort!
Game #3 = WIN
He got an excellent quanta draw - and I was worried about an early fractal, it took considerable care and thought to piece together what CC to keep and what to discard as we both prepared for the inevitable Fractal. Once the fractal game down I eliminated the first wave but eventually his reinforcements overwhelmed my CC and eventually the Diss Shield fell. But with only 3 cards remaining he had to fight through my HP to get a kill, fortunately I topdecked a Diss Shield and waited two turns to save up a little quanta to survive on the final turn and win by deck out.
Game #4 = WIN
Much like game #3 - except my CC draw was even better - I think the draw lead me to make a few play mistakes but it was so strong it didn't matter. Again haink dropped my Diss Shield with about 3 cards to go, but I'd saved a Shield to play on the last turn again and pull out a win.
