Match 1:
Basically, my Discord deprived him from evolving 2 graboids for a while. I grew a grav firemaster to 6/6, then played a MP. Kept at least 3 for an emergency rage pot, which did come in handy for a graboid. He TU'd my firemaster, but my trusty tit shield protected me this round. I think I had 2 blessed MPs at the end, as well :]

Match 2:
This time I drew the Arsenic early. Played an early MP and Arse, he played a graboid, then evolved and TUd. I Rage Potted accordingly. This game I got a lot of EQs, but I only needed a little quanta to get my fog out, and then proceeded to beat him with growing firemaster, MP and arsenic.

Rawr.

Game 1
0 EQs + 0 novas for several turns = fail (discord RNG was icing on the cake as well )

Game 2
4t had 3 turns with 3 QPs out until I could finally EQ. That was just enough quanta to play his low-cost army + early fog. I continued to draw EQs instead of creatures...fail again.

ggs 4t, and looks like UW gets to stick around for a couple more rounds.

did it really? I understand that deuce had awful draws but with nothing over 3 quanta, EQ should not have been too effective and with some cc vs none, shield vs no shield, discord vs duo?

but yes it would have been much much closer if deuce had reasonable draws.

You are right sevs. Given the massive amount of CC, cheap creatures, shields, and weapons, LD's deck probably had a slight advantage over mine.
