Game 1: Lost toss. 3 Damsels start, soon followed by a fourth and a Dragon. Outrushed.

Game 2: Won toss. Good quanta start for the both of us, but I get out Dragons + a Fog. He doesn’t draw Dragons of his own and had to PU mine. Blitzed ftw.

Game 3: Lost toss. Mediocre quanta start for me, and all quanta start for him. I topdeck a Damsel and a Pillar to get my Dragons in hand out. Nightmared him the turn before winning to speed things up. He played all Damsels + PU'ed a Dragon + Blitz for a surprising amount of damage, but I finish him off with a second Nightmare.

OUCH!  -- PUgons with no defense??   Usually Dims or Lightnings or maybe some T-storm if going Sky Dragons are included... I suppose Air was ready for that too with the Steal sideboard.

I think my main point is that PUgons is not a rush so having no defense or stall-ability is less than ideal.

A rush isn't the same as a stallbreaker. I don't know if Aether has the resources to add some defence and still make it a reliable stallbreaker, but either way it's easy to see what this deck aims at.
