The very 1st round got cancelled due to a private situation. The people on the chat know the reasons, and I have no desire to put this on the forum :>

This was my deck.
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vl 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5up 5up 7t4 7ta 7td 7td 7td 7td
As you can see, it's very balanced both in quanta cost and in offence/defence ratio. I must say I am quite proud of it.

Thanks everyone for watching and thanks Essence for a fun game.

My deck lost due to two consecutive rounds of complete pillar screwage.  I accept my fate, but (as I proved to Zeru in an off-the-record third match) I could have taken this quite easily but for my bad luck.

Darkness/Entropy has little it can do aobut Quinted Octopi except Pests -- and he didn't have 'em. Fractaled Crawlers provide a hell of a whollop, and Stealing my :aether pillars to slow the swarm down would mean nothing left to defend against Ice Shield.

Suffice to say, I'm disappointed in my bad luck, but confident that this could have gone my way under any other circumstances.  :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I was watching both games, and I agree that both decks were very good (Zeru's looks a but lacking in :entropy), and one player simply fell due to bad draws.

On problem is raises, though, is the complete lack of any Phase Shields, or more Quints/Fractals in Ess's deck. It does give a rather big hint that there's another  :aether/ :water going around, just hiding. Of course, that could be intentional (Though Essence doesn't think like that... I think. Or maybe I don't >_<).

Yeah, the "Private Situation" made me laugh.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
