I didn't expect it but this game vs dragonhuman turned into one of the most anticipated games after the masters and more famous players. The Earth ( ) team had already won 5 out of its 6 matches with only me left. Talk about pressure 

dragonhuman and I had some problems setting up a good match time because of real life situations, me with a mandatory work training and dragon with work the next day.

Pregame: Each of the members of Earth was tasked with posted 2 decks they would prefer to use in the war and due to real life again I was unable to contribute much to the task. Thankfully others stepped up and made some awsome decks. After the matches were set up and posted I saw I was facing a member of team Life: dragonhuman. The first deck that popped into my mind was Life rush, after that not much came to mind.

Round 1: We started and I believe he won the coin toss. Out came light pillars and I thought "oh boy...miracle stall?" A quick glance at the deck card count told me that I could deck him out before me if I had to and if I had the defense to hold him off. Luckily I need with the deck having 2 shields (grav and titani). The match went ok dragonhuman doing damage with both frogs and rustlers and then a dragon came out. By then I had a grav shield that I could play and stop the dragons cold. The oty got buffed and took care of the rest with golems doing the "pew pew"

Round 2: Almost same start as round 1...he wins coin toss and light pillars + rustler is out. Unlike last round though I had no otys in hand but I did have both the titanium and grav shields in hand. After he got 2 frogs out and about 3 rustlers i payed my titani sheild to lower the dmg to 2-3 per turn. that surprised him that I had 2 different shields  . After he got his first dragon out I played my grav shield to prevent getting bashed 10 dmg per hit and choose to use on of my plate armors on his frog to increase its hp to 6. After that I got 1 oty and sealed the game to have team Earth go 6 - 0.

I was expecting a shrieker/ earthquake rush so I went with a mostly pillarless deck to avoid the earthquakes

Ugh his deck was pretty much the perfect counter to mine, grav shield to kill dragons, otygs to eat the little creatures

I always had the better start (in my mind) but between the otyghs and shields there was little I could do, not even my one miracle could've helped

but it was a good game I did get him to about 54 health each time by massing my frogs and rustlers

edit: you won the first coin toss while I won the second coin otss

It really wasn't a case of guessing. The fact is, There are 2 cards that completely and utterly nullify anything Life could have done. Those cards are Titanium and Gravity Shield. Because we took both, Forest Spirits (Could be eaten if you leave them at 5) and Dragons were both rendered useless, and any type of swarm/adrenaline wouldn't be able to get past the Titanium. After that, all it took was one Plated Otyugh to clean up whatever's left, and that makes the only possible way for him to win something that has both plentyful creature control and perm control, as well as not being taken down by a Pulvy.

EDIT: It looks like dragon is up vs.  again 2nd round... I pity you.

Actually looking back at pregame talks we almost all had predictions about what we were to face and they were mostly true. Puppy vs a semi speed poison, me vs a semi life rush..I forget about the others

So, after about 5 hours of raging, I've finally thought of a way to beat this deck with the cards we have left.

Don't drop your guard earth.
