More than anything else the match was decided by the mistake I made in the first game. It's a shame, but as the two decks were incredibly evenly matched and the match itself was epic I am not too upset.
Round 1: Unit got an early Discord, so I waited under my Phase Shields. And waited. And waited. And drew no quints. Having three dragons in hand, a frog, and two adrenalines (all of which I could play) I made the rookie error of playing them without the quints. It was then that he pulled out antimatters, and Butterfly Effected his squid. Game over at that point, because I couldn't keep up my shields and got beaten into the ground with his dragons.
Round 2: Again, early Discord, and waiting under shields. Managed to get a quinted adrenalined dragon and frog out, and slowly beat him into the ground through his ice shield.
Round 3: Spend a while just waiting this time, until Discord turned up forcing me to start dropping shields. Unfortunately an earlier Butterfly Effect and Ice Shield spelled doom for my deck, as I could only take him down to 15HP before his own dragons took me down, due to my quinted creatures continually freezing against his shield.
All in all a very close game, and well played by Unit.
