He played a Crusader/Sanctuary/Wings deck.

First game, I had an early discord which prevented him from playing anything until it was too late. Second game, I had lots of pillars in my opening hand without a discord. Luckily, I kept drawing creatures and killed him.

Round 1: Turn 2 discord.  Wings & Sanctuary in hand, pillars set up to play them.... but five rounds of having all but 1 or 2 of my quanta turned useless. Miracle in hand useless.  8 turn loss.

Round 2: No discord this time, I put out turn 3 Sanctuary, turn 4 wings.  Shautu placed 2 Abominations early, then drew and played a Dragon every turn for 5 turns.  Again, no time to set up.  Bow in hand, crusader ready to shoot, but air quanta was too slow. No miracle.  9 turn loss.
