Basically, I figured water would use a control deck because that's just what Essence does :D . So I used this deck to keep the creature control from getting to me. I tested it verse speed poison and it did great, and I figured it would win versus mind flayers/todafish/arctic squids. Hence, I went with this for the matchup, banking on a control oriented deck. I was right. The only thing I was worried about was some kind of healing with ice shield.

Game 1: We DCed from eachother late in game, but I had a stone skin with 45 earth and a miracle in hand with two stars out and he had around 30 health.

Game 2: No stone pillars on the draw, but I got them and was able to make 3 stone skins worth 20 or so hp each. But I didn't really need them; I had two stars out and drew two miracles. I only needed one and won right after it, so the skins were kinda unneeded >_<.

That deck doesn't really pull off a lot of damage, I assume he didn't pack an ice shield?  :P

Game 1: I lost in a flash of glory (pun intended) because PuppyChow shorted out my computer with his vicarious presence.

Game 2: A bad draw for both of us, but PuppyChow can recover from his and stomp me, as if I wasn't going to be a sidewalk pancake anyway.

Obviously. I really wished I had had one though.

Even if he had ice shield, so long as he wasn't running a life/water with some bonds or something, I would have ended up doing enough damage. I would have been close to decking out, of course, but I figured I would make it. The 6 damage/turn from the weapon slot weapon would never have frozen.

But yeah. No ice shield.

Gonna be hard to Salvage something from there. I guess we could take the Shockwaves and add them to this deck, but I'm at a loss for other cards (Of course, I could just be screwing around with your little heads-PuppyChow :) )
