First of all I want to say  Youngsot was a great sport and very forgiving in planning our match. Since I had a weekend off, he basically had to  play a match in the middle of the night, while he had to get up for work the day after. Respect!

Here's the deck I used:
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5ii 5ii 5ii 5ii 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 7gk 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gm 7i6 7n0 7th 7th
Match 1:
I won the cointoss, got a steamie out 2nd turn. Steamie grew, grew and grew. I had 3 deflags ready when his first dim shield popped out, so he never stood a chance rly.

Match 2:
Won the cointoss again, steamie 2nd turn again.... This time he got a lobotomizer out though, so I had to deflag that (steamies wanted me to). This resulted in not having a deflag out by the time he started chaining shields. I tried to one shot him by pumping my 2 steamies just enough and using nightmare for the extra needed damage, but I miscalculated by 3 damage... (see screenie) By that time he had 2 phase dragons doing their thing and I had to wait a bit till I got another deflag.

Great matches, nothing much you could have done there. I'm happy I got paired up with you though, you're a great guy!

Well done Jappert and kudos to YoungSot for his flexibility in timing!  Nice one.
It is too late to apologise.  I have already forgiven you.

Our 'last hope' lead to a much needed result. And I have to say, YoungSot, I'm impressed by your devotion.

Good Games,
See you all in Round 2!

Gah, Deflag central >_<"

Well played, Jappert. Finishing 6-2 is still great for Team Aether. Glad that you managed to make the match happen despite the time zone awkwardness, Sot!

Yeah, unfortunately with the new rating system comes new trolls.  Although it is giving me something to do by going through each battle thread that was trolled and inserting a 5* rating to balance it properly :D

Ah well, 6-2 is a great start.  Well played gentlemen.
