first round i saw his death-mark and wasnt very happy. a bonewall and a plage, also poisons and arsenics are not that good for this deck, without permanent control and only 2 phaseshields as protection.

he showed an early arsenic and i didnt draw a burning pillar, but i was lucky, got the pillar 3 turns later and started phoenix-immolate-phoenix, the round later the fractaled and round was pretty over.

next round i had a very good hand, all combo-parts at hand and enough pillars, there was an early arsenic again, but i just outrushed him with 2x fractal, also his miracle wasnt a problem.

the match was nice, i didnt know that candle speaks my native language, i wish him good luck for the rest of the war.

wasn't happy when I saw the fractal/phoenix deck, since I knew that this deck doesnt work against it.
