Essence in for The dictator vs. Rotface - 2-0.

[Essence]

Rotface was the ultimate poor sport this round, first trying to change his deck (and asking me if we could "just not tell ScaredGirl") -- then claiming a non-existant game wherein he beat me (but it never started on my screen). 

Then, after he played a long game in which he put out a Lobo and did nothing else except place Phase Shields and Lightninged my creatures, I Ice Bolted him to death.  He claimed desynch and claimed that HE had won (two things that are mutually exclusive, by the way -- either he won or it desynched and we replay it.) 

After that, this went down:




He left, and I'm claiming victory.

rotface's deck was a massive stall deck with Phase Shields, Lighting, Lobos, and PU.  The dictator's deck was a perfect counter; even when he got down a second-turn Lobo, I was able to put out multiple Chrysaoras in one turn to get a little poison on him, and my Squids dealt a couple per turn while his PUs of my squids just bounced off the ice shield.  He got me down pretty far with Lobo, but I was easily able to save enough to just Ice Bolt him to death without an issue.

Even if SG/kills tells me that we have to replay this, there's really literally no way for this deck to lose against rotface's.

Congrats! (Although according to SG's rules, you don't get to salvage cards considering that you had to sub in for thedictator...)

I'm surprised that rotface had to leave so abruptly.  Was there anyone watching the match-up between you two?

To be honest, given all of his previous behavior, I think he just didn't want to lose, so he bailed instead hoping that kills or SG would let someone else play for him (and lose) later.  But that could just be me being overly annoyed at his lame antics.

Nice coverage of the results, Essence. It only confirms behavior that we have seen before, so I wouldn't worry too much about the outcome.

Wow, the evidence seems a bit overwhelming but rotface should be given a chance to defend himself, shouldnt he?

You'll find your answer somewhere in one of those images. Really, they should remove the 'End' button from keyboards.

dictator had a replament  u and we desynced twice  and i had to go to a cook out this is not right

btw i beat this deck a few times ty like 2times of the 4 desyncs
