First round:
He started quite slowly so I had a chance to play an Eternity, while he played a number of devourers. By the time he played a shrieker I've already damaged him a little bit with Eternity, but I had no graboids and I was unable to play devonians due to lack of time quanta. Then he played more shriekers and if I remember correctly a dusk mantle.
Then he disconnected.
He had a big advantage, but I still had a chance in that battle, so I was not eager to give him the win right away... I'd give him 'half a win' if that was possible, but because that sounds too strange (even for me) I decided to give him a win if he d/c once again in a similar fashion
Then, when we were going to replay that battle he d/c'd right at the beginning, but I had a bad draw, he had a good one (I lost to AI) so I decided it can be counted as a 'second d/c in a similar fashion' so I gave him the win.
1-0
Second round:
He was unlucky and I was lucky.
Third round:
Out of my 7 stone pillars and 9 time factories... if I remember correctly I drew 6 stone pillars and no time factories, by the time he won. I had more
production than he could drain with devourers, but without time, earth is weak
(IMHO)Overall... he was lucky with draws 3 times, I was lucky once... he was lucky with disconnects
Also, this phase was really hard for Time because we have to fight 2
and 2
opponents. It's hard to design 4 decks resistant to quantum denial at once with that Vault.
Still... we're going to win anyway!
