This is the deck I used. The basic idea was that immolations would protect against antimatter. That didn't work quite as planned when Pervepic antimattered and quinted a golem that hat like 15 attack in game one... but I eventually grew it enough to get over that. Immolations were also intended to provide protection against discord, which they did very well.
In the first game, I won the coin toss and got my draw with some pillars, and a golem and an immolation but no photon. The first card I drew was a photon
. So i got a golem, and it kept growing and Pervepic played a dimensional shield or two which I deflagged and my golem kept growing, until the antimatter + quintessence + phase shield to protect against my shrieker and morning star combo. But Pervepic only got one dragon (his deck's only heavy hitter I presume, except for the possible mutant) until late in the game, and I got my lightning early and killed it. It was looking to be very close, until I played my miracle, and won. Also of note was that he had two photons with butterfly effect by the end, one with quintessence on it. I was out of pillars by the end.
In the second game, I lost the coin toss. Again, I had a golem and an immolation but no photon. Again, the first card I drew was a photon. Eventually with a golem and a shrieker he mutated the golem into an abomination, which he later antimattered and I immolated. He got more dragons out this time, but miracle saved me again. And eventually, The combination of my damage and miracles won.
In both games, I'd say victory was a combination of the right deck and near-perfect draws (both times I got my combo on turn 1-2, both times I drew lightning and both times I drew momentum).
