CRAZY off-screen moments.
Before our first duel: I wanted to download CamStudio to record our duels, just to upload the videos here. CamStudio was downloaded in ~10 minutes and then I started recording.
Duel 1 (WIN):When I see the earth mark, I'm afraid of Grabbow. Then it turns out that he's running a
duo. I was much relieved, because I tested my deck against these variants. Laxa only drew 2 pendulums, while I tried to hold back my pillars/pends from EQs. On round 3 or 4, I changed my mind and put down all pends first, and one turn later all pillars. When he played Armagio, I started expecting catapults, but it turned out he don't have any. He BB-d and GP-d all the creatures I put down, but he had only 1 armagio without overdrive yet. Haxx shield and dagger were summoned. I stole his pulvy and endowed it with a fresh Crusader. Now he decided to overdrive his armagio, but I was already at a 93|~54 HP advantage. Finally his stolen pulverizer dealt the finishing blow.
Before second duel: I wanted to stop CamStudio's recording, but it didn't respond when I left-clicked on it on the tray (so Alt+F4 didn't work to stop it). I opened the task manager, but only the Users panel was visible on this computer (no running applications panel). Alt+Tab didn't work either. I asked people in chat about the problem, they didn't know what to do. Finally I right-clicked it on the tray and closed it that way (also, i think either rob or skyironsword suggested me to do this when I did). Right after I shut down CamStudio, my screen started to vibrate in green and white colors, while the tray and the title panel vanished. Even antiaverage didn't know what happened, who was there in chat. xD Finally I had to reboot my computer. Unfortunately this manual shutdown prevented CamStudio to save the record, so it's gone.
Duel 2 (WIN):All creatures killed or BB'd, even the dragon. Dusk shield avoided everything again, and my 1-turn creatures + the dagger managed to get him to 5 HP, where the dagger had to finish the duel.
Duel 3 (LOSS):He had a 1-pillar start, I had Dusk, Crusader and 2 daggers in hand. I endowed a dagger, had the shield going and then stole his Pulvy again. I think this was the point when
my laptop said that I need to charge the battery or it will shut down. Imagine me jumping up my seats to run in the next room, bring back the charger and quickly install it to my laptop. XD I had 10 seconds left to make my moves when I came back. Our HP were 100/54, when all of a sudden, he CC'd my whole field (that 1 endosader) and I didn't have any creatures nor steals in my hand. He summoned his Pulvy and destroyed the shield, unchaining an armagio with 16|20. The pulvy and the armagio chipped my HP down and he defeated me even after using my miracle. Creatures BB'd, shields destroyed.
Duel 4 (WIN):I had steal, dusk and miracle in hand. No creatures yet, but early dagger. Creatures BB'd and GP'd. Haxx shield worked, but without creatures, I was slow on damage while he had an armagio on field. Our HPs were 72|36 at this point and i only had his stolen pulvy in weapon slot. I held back my dragon until it could kill one of his armagios, but 1 turn before i could kill it, he GP'd his other armagio. One of my saders who endowed pulvy rescued from the BB prison and helped my other free creature (angel or dragon) to kill the other armagio. We were at 72|16 at this time, and finally my endosader dealt the finishing blow. GGs!
The deck gravity brought was interesting, I think they will do a good job in this war. Thank you Laxa for subbing suxerz.
So bad that
has only this win and 4 losses already.
