Well, we did a lot of testing and came up with a great deck concept. I want to thank all of team Entropy for their contributions in testing, support, retesting, answering all my questions no matter how difficult I was being, and retesting. I was pretty nervous about my first match, but we did a great job preparing as a team.
Game 1: Saw Light mark and was like hmm interesting, then he started pumping out Death pends (expected considering they are team death and all). So with the deck size and a light mark, I figured it was a stall. However, I was able to get Discord out in 2nd turn and EQ on his pends pretty early. Didn't see much of his deck so was still curious what was in it.
Game 2: Much slower start for me at least, didn't even have discord till a few turns in. Waited one more turn on BH then I probably should have and he got just enough quanta he needed for another sanctuary (killed the first one with explosion while waiting for discord). Rendered BH useless and it was just meant for deckout after he plagued my shriekers one by one. Got him down to 4 hp and shit a brick. Good news is that I got to see what was in his deck
Game 3: A decent start again, well-timed EQs followed by an eventual BH and Shriekers were off to the races as he was practically reset. Used Explosion on his buckler to keep Shriekers alive in the meantime.
Game 4: Top-decked nova like a boss and won coin-toss. Discord, Shriekers out pronto.....followed by an EQ or 2 and I didn't chance it with BH....used it super early to seal the match.
xn0ize played extremely well and he was very pleasant to play with. Thanks xn0ize and team Death. I wish the best of luck to you guys in the rest of the war.
