Ugh... Fractal Devourers is probably the deck I hate the most in this whole damn game. I was expecting some sort of denial, so I hogged all the "cheap" cards to make some sort of rush that can also go through Hax shield. Anyway, first out of many wins for team :death is here:

Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52p 52p 52q 52q 52q 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 542 542 542 542 542 542 713 713 713
1st match: he got crazy good start, and locked me down with 9 poison on himself. Super fast setup.

2nd match: both had bad hands, but his bad hand hurts his strategy more than my bad hand does to my strat. I won pretty easily here, nothing he could do really.

3rd match: so-so start, but I managed to play my first upgraded card and that is a pure win obviously  :D

Really good games, matches were decided by decks and draws really. 3D did as well as he could with choosing on what to spend his quanta. Overall, have to say, fractal decks with pendulums are meh.

GGs mate.

Malduk summed it up perfectly, not much to add.

1st game was textbook.  Early dev, fractal dev, steal weapon, fractal dragon.
2nd game I had no starting devourers and was loaded up with threats and poison before I could do anything.
3rd game was closer, but my darkness quanta was too slow to get threats out.  I had to trickle out the devourers, and was half dead, loaded with poison, and not denying enough quanta to slow Malduk's cheap cards down.

Malduk did everything right, and the low cost cards crawled out and did their job.  Good games man.  Here is the deck.

Code: [Select]
5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5up 5up 5uq 5ur 5us 5us 5ut 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 622 622 622 622 622

Good job Malduk. Very nice. This was definitely one of the matchups we stressed over.

Sounds like an excellent matchup -- Gratz Malduk on a game well played from front to back.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I have a feeling you'll be saying that a lot until war ends.

not sure what you mean by that^
but we have 2 'double trouble' as i like to call them this round  :darkness vs  :time and  :darkness vs  :death
wait until you see our second  :darkness vs  :death, maybe then you'll understand instead of coming up with your 'feeling' about what i'm going to say throughout this event

We all know there's lot of rock-paper-scissors in the Elements. There's nothing new or interesting there. Saying stuff like "oh, but if we played this other deck instead" makes you look bad.
But whats funny here is that... its not wings deck against all airborne creatures, its not heavy CC deck against creaturless deck. Pest Devs are like a safe bet when you dont know what your opponent will play because it works against so many decks. Hell, even works against this one, as I obviously lost one match.

So shake hands and move on to the next match, as those hits and misses will happen during the whole war, to all elements.

i was not in anyway hostile in my first post
but then you retort negatively, making snide remark, and then say stuff like "makes you look bad.", why?
all i did was foreshadowing what would be a better combatant to the deck you use here
win or lose, its all part of the fun
so we anticipate the deck but wrong opponent...eh, we'll get them next time
*accept our loss and moves on*

shakes hand? i wasnt the one who started making snide remark to an otherwise harmless comment

edit: dont really want this to escalate into messy, unnecessary stuff so...congrats on your win man
