It actually can be. If you play a SoI to get a Golem then use Fractal or Mitosis or get nightmared by your opponent, it will have the same stats as the original. There was a deck somewhere that used Shard GolemTal for a 200 HP OTK. I can't (be bother to) find the link though. CuCN, I summon thee.

both singutal and malignantal are both viable just not necessarily very good though malignantal can certainly set up for a dekout when bonds are concerened and singutal can be converted into a ttk. fractal anything is certainly plausible except immortaltal and phasetal.
