Yes good games. They went pretty much as he said, though its worth noting before those 2 games we had about 7 or 8 desync's over the last 2 days heh. We finally tried it with both of us using firefox and without chatting or anything, and it worked.
I'm actually curious about the desync's.
Did the two of you play through the main element site or through kongregate? Something I've been noticing is that I think playing through kong can add about 20 seconds of "dead time" between turns even with good connections, and as much as 40 seconds on poor connections. I was noticing that while testing decks with other people in my team that I was talking to.
In other words, you have 60 seconds to do your turn, if 20-40 seconds are wasted in transit... then really any turn you spend more than 20 seconds on might cause a drop even though your timer shows you have lots of time. (ie, Your timer says you have 60 seconds, but at that moment your opponent sees you as having 40 seconds and has been counting down for 20 seconds before you started. If your reply takes up to 20 seconds, then really, if your turn isn't over before you hit the 40 second mark on your screen, it may not make it.)
I noticed a dramatic improvement when I used the main site directly for pvp instead of through kong, but I haven't done it enough times each way to be sure it wasn't a fluke.
