IANAWM, but having to go -3 upgrades -mark & at least half deck as pillars makes the choice not seem so strong, & mostly says something about Light's poor elemental strength to market price ratio. But since the market price ratio is because other elements make plenty use of Light's good cards, yet Light has traditionally had diversity issues with those same cards, this deck ends up being a meta play that is related to Light, whereby Light is seeking to exploit the interaction of Psiontal with conventional counters to Light's predictable deck pool

tl;dr Light's non-Light deck is a symptom of their conventional deckpool & this war's market letting them down. Which is relevant to Light

That in addition to shards not being very helpful for us compared to other elements. + The usage of shards will make our stalls weaker. So this war will be hard for us.

OK, I am a massive supporter of tinkerer. I think it's a fantastic way to slightly adjust the meta (but not massively, as it can only be used once a round, and you can't have too many tinkerer options in vault because of 50% in element now does not include pillars).

Having said that, to have a quanta source being completely unused is sad. Just sad. I like Serprex's response, and I completely agree with it. But throw 3 Sanctuaries or Blessings, or even a lone miracle or something. Please. Tinkerer is Beta, and I love it, but abusing a rule is more likely to get it removed from future wars than modified to an optimal state. :(

Having said that, in principal, you have done well, and done what Tinkerer should be used for - finding a way to combat a strategy which is previously extremely difficult for your element.

Fine by me, you used your element. You used a deck that can only be made by your element and Air. Light could do it far less effectively with blessings, but none others could. Still keeps the integrity of war in my opinion. AD's, while clever, effective, and doing what is possibly best for his team, does not.

Very good observation, completely spot on ! If you looked at the point standing after auction, light was in a decent spot (in the middle), but after shopping, looking at card count before round 1, we were next to last with only a couple of cards ahead of  :aether, and it is well known how strong  :aether is in the war meta. So it definitely demonstrates how much  :light is hurt by the market prices. On the other hand,  :gravity went up to 1st place even though from the decks you can see they packed a lot of their OP shard, so that element (traditionally also weak in war meta) was clearly strengthened a lot, while  :light possibly one of the weakest elements in war meta got punished even more.
