First fight: I totally got demolished by the fact that I had NO
pillars, and nearly all of the cards in my hands were Deja Vu's or Blessings (which killed me). When I finally got a
pillar out, Troh made a nice steal, further denying me of my chance of getting any creature out. He won with EM, which was pretty embarassing (of course, I got the worst hand possible, but either way, his simple mono-darkness counter made me realize I was going to have an even tougher 2nd round).
Second fight: Everything was switched - I had enough
pillars, but no
pillars to bring out adrenalined Deja Vus, which was going to be detrimental anyway once I saw through a premonition (alchemy card) that he had two Siphon Life's waiting for me. I tried to hold off using my Deja Vus and hoped that I could build enough
quanta with my mark to use a few blessings to make them more stable, but he still killed me in the end. I got a few hits in before he threw down his two dragons and a Dusk Mantle to finish me off.
Well, congrats to Troh, and good game indeed.
