Akikaze Shiro's Point of view:
I sat near enough to the pilot to be able to see him, but far enough away that if he suddenly woke up I wouldn't be in danger.
Fox, cat, raccoon AND wolf? I thought, staring at the body quizzically,
four conflicting alien genes in one body and he survived? If memory serves, the current limit for different genes is three, at high risk. That would mean I managed to successfully splice four, but why don't I remember something that significant? I sudden thought occurred to me.
Could this... be Glenford Raleigh? It would certainly explain why I never knew my test had worked.
The pounding of feet brought me out of my thoughts, I glanced over. The Industrialist prisoner was pointing his gun at my head. "Pick up Raleigh and put him in the transport." He ordered me, finding no other choices, I complied.
Well, the captains really gonna give it to me this time...Glenford Raleigh's Point of View:
The pain... is everywhere, but where am I? I reached out and felt something soft, wet, and just a little warm... I opened my eyes. My parched throat tried to scream as my hand touched a bloodied corpse. I scrambled backwards, slowly, and painfully. The ground was uneven and lumpy, like many tree roots entangled together. I looked down.
Arms and...tails? I managed a scream this time; a scratchy cough like noise. I clawed my way backwards in panic, but my back leg hit another arm and I slide, backwards, down a heap of failed creations. When I hit the ground, the panic and adrenaline coursing through me was enough to make me run despite the hunger, fatigue, and pain.
I lurched into a sitting position, "auggghhh..." I groaned, holding my shoulder. Temen glanced at me, "hows your shoulder? You were screaming in your sleep."
-EDIT- OOC: I just realized, if Raleigh was the pilot, does Temen know how to fly the transport at all? O.o'
