Looking at the two people across from him, he too also wonders what wager Sky has in mind. "C'mon guys, try to keep the wager clean." But in his head he doesn't care if it clean or dirty. For now he just sits back and deals the two players their next hand.

Izabelle smirked at Claiborne's comment, though if Sky tried to make a dirty wager with her, she would slit his throat. Not that he ever would. I don't think anyways.

"You can do whatever you'd like. At least as far as the laws of physics we've figured out how to break so far let you. Try to break the rest while you're there. It'll all help."

"We definitely hope it's possible to transport things with the portal, otherwise your wrist-comms won't do much."

"Anything else? Otherwise we're going, and-" The door opened behind him as Rachael showed up.

"It's time, Mr. Smithson."

"All right, any last questions are as we go. You'll get your 'watches' in the room before you go in." So saying, the two Departure members led the group out, starting down another maze of corridors after a brief pause so things could get put away.

Chip prances down the hallway, at the heels of Mr. Smithson.

Izabelle placed her cards on the table in front of her, nodding to Sky and Claiborne. She stood and walked out the door,following a few paces behind Chip

Jane decided to stay in the back, hoping not to be noticed. She didn't stay too far back though, as losing the group would be a bad idea. A flash of excitement went through her again. It was actually happening!

Renae quietly stood and began to walk with the group to the room, still maintaining her quiet and cold demeanor.

Joey walked casually in the front of the pack of subjects, keeping pace with Smithson and Chip.
He agreed with Chip, some color would be fantastic.

As they went, Joey elaborated on his earlier question.  "So we're just testing hardware and software?  We don't have goals other than try to break the laws of physics?  How long is the duration of the test anyway?  A few days?"

Yu'zsc strolls along, casually to Renae's side, eyes on Izabelle.

Interesting... i wonder if transferring "Magic" back could work...

Aetius followed the group, forcing himself down to the plodding pace of the old man leading them. It was so slow! The white halls of the facility seemed to stretch endlessly; the wait was agonizing! Patience, he thought to himself. This was what they came for, and time had come to see whether Departure Science could live up to its reputation. He'd survived worse things. He could afford to wait a little longer.

Claiborne looked at the people getting up to go to the door. He picks up his cards puts them back in their case. "I hope that we can be allies on the other side." are the last words to Sky and Izabelle before he gets up and walks towards the door.

Nile caught up to Joey and Chip at the front in time to hear his question to Mr. Dave. To be honest, he was curious as well. How long would they be in this virtual world with these strange magical beings?

Nile piped in before Dave could answer. "Also, why exactly are we going to this particular world? Surely there are more than one virtual worlds right? Why don't we all get to choose a world to go to, or even make an ideal world for each of us?"
