"Oh crap..." Kuraz could only utter two words before the portal opened once more and the drake flew out. However, it's composition twisted and turned until all that was left of it's original form was it's head and wings. It's whole body appeared to be made out of water, which shimmered gracefully in the sky.
But such detail was negligible when you were about to become lunch. The watery serpent-like creature flew at Kairos, opening it's mouth to fire bursts of ice.
'There's no doubt about it now. Whatever this 'Void' ties to, it's still elemental at heart.' Kuraz thought, before firing a few Smites to drive the creature off. Sensing its prey was resisting, the water serpent began to fire ice bolts at Kairos instead, who appeared distracted.

As if out of nowhere, more portals opened nearby, and numerous watery serpents of the same natures leapt out at the conscious fighter as well. Psyphoenix simply blinked, and they exploded.
If only it was that simple. As abruptly as they blew up, droplets of water quickly began to reform. Manipulating the barrier, Iredia tried to superheat the creatures, but they simply turned into steam and continued their relentless assault on their prey.
Shaden and Lyra wasted no time casting two spells.

Turning quickly, Aquarius saw a Black Nymph.... no, it wasn't a Black Nymph.
"Impostor!" He yelled. "Why are you here?"
The Nymph did not reply, but suddenly shimmered, as it turned into a monstrous serpent of water. The elementals inside the temple panicked, and began casting various Ice spells. But no matter what they did, the serpent appeared to twist out of the way of their ice bolts and freezes. Even when completely frozen, it almost seemed to assimlate the ice into its body, pushing on as if it desperately needed food.

Renato smiled. He'd managed to prove much stronger to Revane in his last fight, managed to drive the criminal off. It wasn't the heroic arrest he wanted, but it was a start.
All of a sudden, a void portal opened up in front of him. He quickly casted a Shockwave.... only to be met by a giant swarm of red lizard-like creatures. As they leapt over the dead corpses of the lizards that had initially appeared, they seemed to grow stronger as if unified by a fiery bond.
