Cerin waited in the shadows for something, anything to happen. thats the problem with New York City it has so many back alleys and main roads its almost
impossible to find anyone, even walkers. He took of running down the alley he was in, glancing around at every intersection. Where is that group of survivors I
say yesterday? Cerin thought to himself. A scream sounded about 100 feet away. Cerin remained calm in NYC that could be 1 or 5 streets away. He rounded the corning onto a main
road and swung up onto a nearby fire escape. Climbing up the makeshift stairway he stepped out onto the roof. Surprising that there is still a roof on this building.
Running along the edge so as not to cave in the middle Cerin leapt from building to building, most having holes or even no roof. on the eighth roof he found the
source of the scream. Well I found the survivors. There in the middle of the road was a group of people armed with makeshift weapons and even a gun or two.
hm normally with that weaponry you would have no trouble with walkers, why did they scream? The shadows around the group began to move. Oh they are
surrounded by walkers, and not just a small group, this looks like almost half of NYC's population. the survivors with guns started to shoot. miss, waste of
bullet, miss again. Cerin started naturally analyzing the fighting going on before him. The walkers where almost right on top of the survivors now, the ones with
melee weapons had started attacking the walkers. their not going to survive this with how many zombies their are. Cerin watched with cold calculation, I
give them 7 more seconds, 1. One of the survivors fell to the ground. 2. the walkers where now on top of the survivors, jumping on them and attacking.
3. the onslaught continued 4 zombies dropping for every 1 survivor. 4. only 5 survivors where left now and they where surrounded. 5. the walkers
rushed forward, the survivors disappeared below the surface, screaming. 6. the screaming stopped, there was an eerie silence, none of the walkers where
moving. 1 second off, not to bad. All the walkers started shambling away in random directions, after about a minute there where no walkers in sight, then
something surprising happened. One of the survivors, that was on the ground, got up, and walked away.
