Oh, the pieces come closer together, do they? Perhaps they will stand a chance against the mongrels, after all.

"And what do you think you're doing?" The Nymph sneers as she spits a cooling water bolt at a black figured that swooped at me. With him pinned to a rock by the congealing ice, she turns to me and smirks before freezing the vines around her and draining their life. "Not bad, Golem, but I have not yet begun to fight."

The Wyrms finally have stopped focusing on me thanks to EvaRia's attacks. Not for long, I suppose, though....

Enemy Nymph Actions:
1) Spit expanding Ice Bolt at Xenocidius. He is pinned to a rock. (Strength to break : 2 AP)
2+3) Drain Life + Congeal on OldTrees Vines. No damage done to OldTrees.

Wyrm 1's Action
1) Dive (2/2) at camoninja.

Wyrm 2's Action
1) Attack EvaRia.

Ankh's Actions
Text - Ceru Stutas. My nerves are still frayed and my fingers still edgy. I try again....
Text - Cure Status. The raw feeling under my skin is gone. I quickly run up and slash at the Nymph before she can retaliate.

1. Text - Cure Status.  (Target Nervesliced.) (Fails)
2. Text - Cure Status. (Target Nervesliced.) (Works)
3. Attack the Nymph.

_ sees his body has been switched back. He stands in a daze for a moment, watching events unfold, trying to understand what happened. A phone appears to be able to do anything its user wants, and causing a lot of trouble. _ switches with the phone's owner, -WHAM- just as something slams into his shoulder. "I'll fix him later. Maybe..." he thinks. In the meantime, ignoring anything else going on, he takes the phone out and texts "Speed".

1. Daze- slow reactions.
2. Switch with Zblader.
3. Text- "Speed" (One more action per turn)

My character doesn't really care what happens to bodies, since he can switch out of them as often as he wants. He doesn't have much experience with dying though. Also he doesn't think about gender, but it's just easier calling it "him."

Again, I'm going to note that switching bodies can still be confusing especially if less active players find themselves in a different body every time and have to adjust to even more confusing situations on an already-chaotic battlefield. Also, switching bodies too much forces players to read more posts to catch up, which in turn makes it harder for everyone to follow and more complicated than it could be.

Quote from: patchx94, from the last time we tried using other characters in Special Powers:
Destroying physics and meddling with others' characters, such as by mass-teleporting their locations, makes it difficult for people to follow the story without reading through all the posts and noting all the subtleties that lie within each player's actions.
(Note that the ability (Labeled "Possess") used in Special Powers 2 was also temporary, which helped to balance it out (had I continued to use it) in contrast to yours which has no actual drawbacks .)

At the least, I don't think switching bodies without a power limit is still a good idea if we want to keep playing in the long run. For now, I won't DM the thing out of existence (not to mention arti's hosting too), but I will keep a very close eye on it. It's not necessarily gamebreaking (though it could be given that you can easily screw everyone over in a few turns), but it could turn the story into a mess.

'Let the Reality Phone... always be connected with half my soul'

Words flash into my mind, as my new body watches as the bodyswitcher... impales himself with the phone? My body explodes in burst of energy, taking the soul.... no, one and a half souls... in a bright light.

'half...half...half...half...half...half...half...' I can only stand still as the words flow into my mind, only to be interrupted by a loud voice.

REMEMBER THE CONTRACT. SOME OF YOU HAVE ALREADY DEFILED REALITY, AND YOU NOW ALL BEGIN TO DEFILE MINDS AS WELL. I WILL ONLY SPARE THOSE WHO HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTROL SUCH POWER. ALL OTHERS SHALL PERISH!

THIS WILL BE YOUR LAST WARNING, FOOLS. SEEK MY WRATH AND YOU WILL FIND IT IN THIS DIMENSION OF "MAYBE".

"...Such is the deity's wrath. Too bad he cannot control his hunger for power." The Nymph smirks, as she slices camoninja and EvaRia with a quick 360 turn. Ariel desperately texts "Recall" with the remaining hand she controls, and I hastily return to my injured body, leaving the soulless shell for it's real owner. This is no normal universe, indeed.

I write "Miracle", healing my own body. But I am exhausted despite the massive healing.... my muscles can't seem to move. I can barely stand and back away as the Nymph advances on me with a smirk.

"Sorry, Ariel." A stab through the chest ends my life... for now.

1. Text - Recall - Sends my soul back to it's original body. Push out camoninja's soul.
2. Text - Miracle (1/2)
3. Text - Miracle (2/2)
0. Die. Ankh/Ariel have 0/3 actions charged to respawn with the Reality Phone and Gemini Mask.

"Hehehe. Honestly, you all can revive so quickly. That means I can also kill you quickly, right?"
The Nymph impales Xenocidius next, shattering the ice but leaving him with a large stab wound in his chest. He seems to be creeping closer to death...

The two Wyrms, seeing the shock on the their enemy's faces, quickly ram OldTrees in the a pincer manuever. The impact resounds with a rather loud crunch.

Enemy Nymph's Actions
1. [Passes due to low roll.]
2. 360 Slash camoninja and EvaRia.
3. Impale Xenocidius - he is freed from the ice but now dying.

Wyrm 1's Actions
1. Attack OldTrees.

Wyrm 2's Actions
2. Attack OldTrees.

It appears I did less damage than I thought to the wyrms, they seem alive and well still.

But an attack suddenly comes flying at me, and I quickly turn my attention to the third one.

I'm met with a slash coming right at me.
Even with my speed and reflexes I know I can't get out of the way in time.
I have to defend myself...

The wind is my shield.

I let the air condense in between me and the blade, deflecting the blow with ease.

This gives me an opening to counter attack. At this range it would be difficult to miss.
Once again, I let the wind sharpen to a keen edge, and slash at my foe.

The nymph spins to face my attack, and I make the move to slash again.

But this time I let the blade form from behind her, slashing back towards me instead of away from her.

With each attack I can feel my control getting better.

I'm getting used to this.

1. Defend myself from the nymphs attack.
2. Slash at the nymph.
3. Back slash.

Looking up, I see the person I crashed into, he has fair blonde hair, blue garments, and disturbing white eyes. Dazed from the impact, I get up slowly and turn towards him, about to apologize when I noticed him staring intently over my shoulder with an intrigued expression. I turn and see a shadowy black wolf with deep red eyes. Fright fills me, I begin to back up, trying not to enrage or startle it before I remember... I have weapons, and magic, and skills.
Locking my eyes with the beast I set myself in a position reminiscent of Asian style dance that was in my brain, along with many other chunks of information the castle had given me.
"Beast of madness and uncertainty... die by my hand!"

1: Attack black wolf (miss)

I lash out, but the beast dodges. Without missing a beat I toss both fans, but it is quick and jumps over them, seeing me defenseless, it moves in for the kill. Concentrating hard, I levitate the fans and send them spinning at its unguarded back.

2: Levitate fans for a sneak attack (hits for minor damage)

Some how, the wolf managed to avoid a major attack from my well-aimed war fans, and only bleed from minor wounds. I began to truly realize the strength of the creature.
It crosses my mind that the blonde man might have some skill in fighting... I turn to him.
"Sir, might I interest you in the proposal of an alliance?"

3: Offer Thalas an alliance

Not wasting any second I said with smile "Young lady, I accept your offer, but there things that need to be done much sooner." I glance at bloodthirsty beast, which prepares for attack. Its teeth were sharp as inquisitor's blade and I could feel the pure bestiality from its scarlet eyes.

1. Thalas accepts alliance

Raziela darted out towards the enemy with unusual grace. She raised her pale white wings, creating gust of wind. Wings sank into beast's back, which howled in pain, not understanding who stabbed it. Beast wrenched from the grip, breaking some of Raziela's feathers, and retreated back into the twisting forest. However it didn't give up, both me and silver-haired girl could hear its heavy breathing and trampling, circling around us . I felt anxious about this, so I concentrated on searching for the wolf, unsuccessfully. The ever-changing forest started dancing in exotic ways, leaves were drifting in the tempest wind, branches writhed in agony, tree bark flaked off as if it was scorched by devil's flame.

2.Raziela attacks Beast

Sensing danger, Raziela trembled and assumed defensive stance in front of me. Also the young girl still maintained her battle pose.
Wolf launched its attack and leapt on me, penetrating Raziela's immaterial body. Pain shot through my arm, beast was shredding my meat along with my robe. War fan flew near my head and pierced beast's left eye.
Beast jumped away from me and turned its attention to who tossed the war fan. I fainted from the blood loss.........

3. Raziela defends Thalas, though he gets injured

Beast's action's
1.Passes - low roll
2. Gets stabbed by Raziela and retreats
3. Attacks Thalas
4. Attacks Deo

I am not exactly sure how the Trident got stuck to Golem 2, OldTrees, but going with that...

Enemy Nymph's Actions
1 and 2. Break Bonds with Drain Life. Heals Nymph and Damages OldTrees Golem #2.
(51-100 results in successful drain along with standard damage. Roll : 52)
3. Remove Trident from bodies.

Wyrm 1's Actions
1) Attack OldTrees Golem #2
(50/50 Chance to attack Golem 1 or 2. Result : 2)

Wyrm 2's Actions
1) Attack OldTrees Golem #2
(50/50 Chance to attack Golem 1 or 2. Result : 2)

Ariel's Actions
1-3) Charge all actions for respawning. Respawn near battle scene w/Nymph and Wyrms.

I head towards the fight once more, hoping for an opening.

The warning that echoed throughout the world worries me. I probably should refrain from using the Reality Phone for while, until that deity calms down...

Trident would take 1 AP to remove from Nymph's chest/back another to grab due to interference from golem and a third to attack with.

(not acting again yet because I am not sure how frequently acting is allowed.)

I'll change the last action to removing the trident, but there's still one thing I don't understand - how did the Trident get impaled in the Golem's chest? The last person the Nymph impaled was Xenocidius. (Her attack targets last turn were camoninja, EvaRia, and Xenocidius.)

EDIT : Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

I'll change the last action to removing the trident, but there's still one thing I don't understand - how did the Trident get impaled in the Golem's chest? The last person the Nymph impaled was Xenocidius. (Her attack targets last turn were camoninja, EvaRia, and Xenocidius.)
Charging unarmed at an armed opponent provokes and attack of opportunity. The Golem used this and its lack of concern for its well being to accept a critical hit to be impaled and disarm the Nymph. The wyrm attacks, the drain and the critical have inanimated the golem body #2.
