I unclasp my hands to find the Crimson Amulet. I frown, as destroying objects by extreme heat is not what I'm on this mission to do. Still, maybe I could find a use for it later. I push myself of the tree onto the ground, and proceed towards the sun - east.
"Bah. We should just terminate him before he causes any more harm. The chances of him succeeding are slim to none." A gruff figure punches a cloth dummy behind him, while he stares at a very large machines made purely for information.
"Disagreed, sir. You offered to give him a second chance and turning back on your world would be dishonorable. Besides, hasn't Kafos destroyed your flesh once this decade?" Amalie turns around from her keyboard and smiles sweetly at her superior.
"Yes, and I froze his flesh from the inside out. My arguments with kin are none of your concern. Give me status on the testee," Kryos says, his face reddening.
"As you wish, sir." Amalie hits a few buttons in front of her, and a reel of information comes out of a printer behind Kryos. He picks it up. "Still in the woods. I'm not surprised in the least, he's been useless ever since the base under Port Falchion went up in smoke." Kafos says. He looks ready to rant further, but Amalie stops him.
"If my...our testee fails," Amalie says, frowning at having to refer to her brother as a test subject, "it will do little harm to terminate him. But he can still prove his use. Is this not the lesson you gave us when we were children?"
Kryos's expression of disdain doesn't change.
OOC: Where are you three, exactly?
