Aero came into this confident. While he didn't know what to expect, he was positive that he could win. However, Aero's confidence would soon waver.
Bringing the almighty disco into the first game seemed like a good option, along with his EE's sniping prowess all creatures would either be stuck in hand or defeated. Instead, he faced a devourer nova deck. The mighty fog shield blocked many of the attacks Aero sent towards Asmodeus, with him dancing in the fog. Even if he had managed to win (it was fairly close too), Aero had been a dunderhead and brought about the illegal wings.
Backed into a corner, Aero brought out his signature--a pure mono
. This proved too strong for Asmodeus, as a weak start from him was soundly crushed by the flying artillery used by Aero.
This win brought back the confidence Aero had, pushing it towards sky-high levels. He decided to play around, trying to defeat denial with a very weak denial of his own. However, the slow starts that Asmodeus had before were not to be seen in this duel, and Aero was quickly drained of all quanta he had and was beat down by the Black Dragons that Asmo summoned.
