Heh.  Another victory. Kiyen strode confidently towards the corpse of his fallen enemy, when suddenly Croaker jumped up and said "Gotcha".  As Kiyen tumbled down into a well-hid grassy pit, he shouted curse you, Antimatterrrrrrrrrrrr!

"Unfortunate that your return to the field has already been met with a loss, 'Aero'. I hope for your sake that you improve to live up to you reputation from last time." the Knight calling himself "Asmodeus" began to walk away. I ran after him to try to return the favor, but a black object smashed into me me and knocked me over because I could check on Aero. When I regained my senses, I had a broken leg that needed to be healed by Lyra and the strange Knight who had mocked Onizuka was nowhere to be found.

In addition, another Chess Piece had seized the opportunity to attack up with the "flowers" in the realm. Time to fight once more.

Asmodeus 2 - 1 Aero
Good games.

Aero came into this confident. While he didn't know what to expect, he was positive that he could win. However, Aero's confidence would soon waver.

Bringing the almighty disco into the first game seemed like a good option, along with his EE's sniping prowess all creatures would either be stuck in hand or defeated. Instead, he faced a devourer nova deck. The mighty fog shield blocked many of the attacks Aero sent towards Asmodeus, with him dancing in the fog. Even if he had managed to win (it was fairly close too), Aero had been a dunderhead and brought about the illegal wings.

Backed into a corner, Aero brought out his signature--a pure mono  :air. This proved too strong for Asmodeus, as a weak start from him was soundly crushed by the flying artillery used by Aero.

This win brought back the confidence Aero had, pushing it towards sky-high levels. He decided to play around, trying to defeat denial with a very weak denial of his own. However, the slow starts that Asmodeus had before were not to be seen in this duel, and Aero was quickly drained of all quanta he had and was beat down by the Black Dragons that Asmo summoned.

Tseem's eyes blinked open and he jumped upright. He briefly caught glimpse of several of his friends lying nearby nursing various wounds, before becoming dizzy and collapsing back to the ground in a clumsy heap. Gingerly touching his head, he felt a large gash still bleeding profusely, and decided it would be best to remain prone for the time being.

Spoiler for Hidden:

I like to take on the Chess Pieces that have beaten a fellow MAR member before, as they're sure to be a challenge. You know what they say about being careful what you wish for though...

Game 1 (loss) didn't realize we could now use ups, super close and would have been a win if I'd known. :(

Game 2 (loss) played around with a few decks, but wasn't real happy with their chances, so rather than make majofa wait even longer I decided to upgrade and tweak my first deck a bit, thinking that I could repeat my previous match but with ups to make the difference. Unfortunately I didn't draw any of my miracles before dying, and a poor/mediocre quanta start left me too slow to outrush either.

UTAlan arrives to the battlefield, afraid he was too late. His teammates had taken a beating, but the battle was not over yet. Before he had a chance to finish evaluating the situation, a foe charged at him at full speed.

UTAlan will fight Pawnson.

UTA cleaned off his blade after coming out victorious, then let out a scream to encourage his teammates who were still engaged in battle. These pawns shall not defeat us today! Hoo-ah!

Game 1 I used this deck without any ups (oops), but I beat him both times. Game 2 was a little closer since I didn't have any Steals and drew only 1 late lightning, but my Fractals came just in time.
