You only need to resolve the alchemist's issue. (Breaking the curse is just the most straightforward way to do it.)

Name: Cursed Scales
Element: Darkness
Cost: 3 :darkness
Type: Spell

Text: Any creature with a quanta cost matching either attack or hit points is delayed for 2 turns.
Notes:
Flavor: It's curse represents it's possession by darkness, while it being a set of scale represents balance. Combined, if a creature attains a certain kind of balance, it is temporarily cursed. It is something you would not be surprised to find in an alley of shady characters.

Balance: Thunderstorm is 2 quanta - this does not damage, and does not affect every creature, but to compensate has a much stronger effect if the creature has less than 2 HP. I feel the same cost as Tstorm is close to perfect.

Meta: This would be used as another accessory card for Darkness decks, alongside cards such as Cloak and Nightmare. It is unique in that there is no card in game that compares cost to stats, and no mass CC that delays creatures. It's also not a specialty card, as it affects a wide range of commonly used creatures (Phoenix, upped Demon, Puffer Fish, both Chargers, Lava Destroyer, Mind Flayer, Ray of Light, flying OE and EE, etc).

The hobbit lands in front of The Hawk's feet, and the next thing you know, the Orc's running towards the three of you yelling something about "Smashing the bad buisness competitor", accompanies by random bolts of fire launched haphazardly at you. Seems like your competition has caught up to one of your employees, Hawk.

If you choose to run, you need to design a card with a rating of 17 or above to prevent at least you from being killed. If you choose to fight, cards you design must have a rating of 15 or higher to successfully cast and need to prevent at least you from being killed.

Kalame (killsdazombies)
Flavor:...I see where you're coming from, you're trying to 'reset' the soul by ripping it out and putting it back in the Alchemist. While this works, soul manipulation feels more Death or Light IMHO - this card's effect feels more like you're scaring the target out of his wits as opposed to messing with his soul. I guess the story would've explained things a little more, but seeing as it got cut short I don't really know what happened. 5/10
Design: - I feel like this is a tad overcosted compared to other CC spells, which can completely wipe off a creature on the board for 2 :underworld . The status curing is rather narrow IMHO and doesn't justify 4 :darkness in the unupped meta.  5/10
Meta: - Tough call between Average (3-4) and Good (5-6) on this one. For lack of a better option, I'd take it as the cheapest MonoDarkness CC possible, though like I said in design it certainly isn't the best card for it's role (and to be fair, your other element doesn't shine much in CC either). 5/10

The Adventurer's Guild is packed as always - it seems Towe is a popular starting place for many new adventurers looking for a quest.  A large, burly minotaur sits in the back of the room, doing some paperwork - it seems he's the one in charge here. He's yelling at a skeletal deer halfling and a blue ninja that seem to have messed up quest assignments - the pair are frantically digging through a giant stack of paper.

In other words, business as usual. You notice two other adventurers from the road to Towe have also entered and are looking around.

There's a quest board set up near the entrance, so you decide to take a look:

The Port

Ah, the port is actually relatively clean and orderly, compared to the messy chaos that was the market. Fish leap in the sea and you see a group of water elementals cleaning dirt off the wooden walkways. Settling near a pier, you notice a ship captain arguing with a large, burly man and a dolphin that seems to be swimming in circles around a tall, jutting rock.

The Tavern

Spoiler for Hidden:
The Tavern's a noisy mess as you walk in, full of rumormongers, angry citizens, and various barmaids. You almost can't hear yourself talk.

Drinks here are worth 10 :electrum each. You also notice a group of golems playing darts and a makeshift fighting arena where a human-looking female oni and female lizardwoman are boxing. The audience seems to be betting on who will win.

Antwit Forest

Antwit Forest is a usually a quiet, serene place where the forest druids meditate. Well, not today, for you hear massive thumps that sound like wingbeats and inhuman screeches that make you want to cover your ears.

You see a green cloaked man fighting a giant insect. He seems to be who you're looking for.

Flavor: Defeat injustice with injustice. Very poetic, and I like the implications of what this says about a user of this spell. ;) 7/10
Design: - You take the time to explain yourself, which is always a plus. Potential Mass CC with a drawback has been shown to cost 3 :underworld before (Pandemonium), so I think this is on the mark. 6/10
Meta: - Now this is the kind of out-of-box design I want to see in this RP. While most players would rather have the kill spell, the cheap and unique way this goes about things is sure to draw someone's attention ingame. 7/10

The Church of Lumia. A solemn, devout place for the religious to pay respect.

...yet, to hold back the blinding light of absolutism, the shadows of insight and independent belief are also interwoven into the Church's defensive runes. It is clear that this isn't your ordinary monoelement temple - the swirl of spiritual energies welcomes all Elementals despite it's clear :light :darkness alignment.

As you enter the church, you see a male priest in a green robe praying at the altar, deep in thought. On your left, you see a blond woman in an explorer's garb walking towards the entrance, headed your way. To the right, you see a brown haired boy with red goggles. Hm... red goggles, isn't that the guy who burned that book?

Harvestasha lazily glances at the orc running down the alley. "Hmph, barbarian." She then turned to Daniel. "Well my friend, it looks like I am going to be giving that charm a little test. I had better not be disappointed." Harvestasha waved her hand and the Firebolts color changed from orange to a light teal. As the teal Firebolts, Harvestasha winced in pain and her recently donned Mail began to glow. Then, she pointed a finger at the orc and another at an alley rat that just happened to be there. Out of her index finger shot a bolt of lightning, but about halfway to the orc it split and trailed off to the rat. She then felt a slight reinvigoration as she gazed at the wounds, which were healing themselves immediately. "Not even a scar, very nice."

This means that I will be activating the Element Shift, and taking the Firebolt. Then using Forked Lighting on it and a random rat.
