To the next issue: The character template.
This needs to include a few things: in a form that is both neat and compact.
What we had by the end of the first EA worked well, but maybe it can become even better:
*Avatar - What our character looks like. Solely for aesthetic purposes. Contrary to what I said before, I'm going to play around with the Tektek avatar creator for Gaia. Depending on how epic it's customization is, it could be very nice.
*Statistics - This becomes a problem with 12 elemental stats, but condensing it into a nice table would make it work. This also needs to include health, quanta and actions.
*Items - This got really crowded when we got more items. I intend to abuse desc tags as much as possible tio save space, but there's only so much we can do with that.
* Synopsis: Probably fine as is. Could make shorter or even longer if people really enjoy them.
* Notes: Little to no change needed here.
In addition, we need to redefine the limits to the amount of items we can have equipped and what we can actually carry. Basically something like FATE:
* Two slots for weapons and shields.
* Four slots for towers and pends.
* Four slots for artifacts.
Everything else stays in the inventory and can be switched out whenever outside of battle, or as an action in battle.
Then there has to be a cap to other items. Probably 20 spread between Scrolls, Food and Drink (which could probably be renamed), and Miscellaneous.
