(Gasp! A non-Elements RP?)
The year is 9 FE(Flightless Era). The capitol of my home country, Araceli, has fallen from the Skybane War. A war on flight, on control over the sky, on the one place we all felt finally free from any sort of tyranny and could live in peace. Araceli was a country known for its superior aeronautical technology. Because of it, it was often thought of as the heart of the sky, despite being a land country. Araceli ruled the skies, and there was rarely ever any trouble. They ruled openly and peacefully, letting all partake in the free sky that rested above us all. That was, until 9 years ago...
Tarrania, once a place as peaceful as Araceli, though it lacked it's skyward expertise, was a strong country. Although militaristic, it never tried to expand it's border in a violent way. But Tarrania had gained a new leader, and she was a dreafully tyranical woman. Smart, beautiful, cunning, and now one of the most powerful people in the world. With Tarrania under her control, she began to use its superior military. Starting small, she conquered the surrounding countries, but quickly escalated to around the world. Spies, assassins, it seemed like she had people everywhere. Everywhere but in the sky. She was envious of one element in this world she could not tame, and set her sights on doing just that. Within the first year war had been declared and in several countries that did not wish to fight, all air control was handed over to Tarrania as apart of a surrender agreement.
Slowly, Tarrania began to amass large armies, not only on the ground, but in the sky now. Despite the advantages Araceli had, it couldn't match up to the sheer quantity Tarrania now had. It took 8 long years after the start of the war before Araceli finally fell. Tarrania had done it. As every supervillain in every book I read growing up, Tarrania had indeed taken over the world.
No one can rule the world completely. There will always be patches that rise up, rebels that ban together, enough to be heard, but never enough to make an impact. You see, this is where I come in. It is almost impossible to fly the skies annymore. But I've found a way. My name is Ava, and I'm the lone successor, true princess, of Araceli.
When the ground capitol was seized, I was currently on our skybase working on the lastest modifictations to my airship. I found a way to perfectly disguise a ship of almost any size from any source of detection, well, aside from visual detection. But I'm working on that. Being the Princess of Araceli, I grew up in the sky. Learning about what makes an airship fly. Why an airbus stays aloft despite the tremendous weight of so many people on board. I learned the ins and outs of every piece of almost every model ship we had.
When I learned that Araceli had fallen, I escaped on my airship. I knew I would be the one with the biggest bounty on my head, so i took my small crew and left. Now I travel around this forcefully seize world, looking for those who will rise up with me and take this world back.

A little about this world:
The world in Airheart is a combination of a few decades old modern society combined with a fantasmical steampunk theme. Weapons are what you'd expect, gun, swords, tanks are beginning to be mass produced now. Just most everything has a steampunk twist on it. Lasers don't exist, beam swords don't either nor do similar things like that. Any questions, just ask.

Name: Ava Araceli
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Nationality: Aracelian
Side: For Rebels
Appearance: Ava has medium length light brown hair, going just past her shoulders. Flying so often, she usually keeps it pulled back into a messy french braid. Always donning a pair of aviator goggles on her forehead, the rest of her usual outfits never seem to match. Often she wears very casual dresses with a pair of plain pants or shorts underneath. She stands slightly taller than the average female height of Aracelians at 5 feet 6 inches(1.6 meters). Her build is slender, but anyone can easily see that her arms are more toned and worked than a normal girl of her age. Naturally long eyelashes accent her light brown, nearly golden, eyes.
Biography: Daughter of Wallace and June Araceli, Princess of Araceli, was raised in a very unconventional manner that one would typically expect for a princess. Ava spent most of her time either in the air, or at the various hangars located around Araceli. Once Araceli got their Skybase operational, it was rare to ever see her on the ground. She spent most of her days reading, learning, anything and everything she could about aeronautics. It wasn't long until she became one of the most sought after pilots in Araceli, but she never flew anything but her own. Narice, her beloved airship that she took many years to build, is the only ship she pilots seriously. That being said, Narice is usually the ship that ends up testing any new system or parts before they become widely manufactured.
Strong and high spirited, Ava almost seems to take nothing but piloting seriously. Although her concerns, worries, and problems run deep, there is rarely a time when she isn't smiling at a stranger on the street. Even when the Skybane War came to Araceli, you'd think Ava was completely unaware with how she acted. She was safe on the Skybase when the Araceli capitol fell and quickly fled with a small tight knit crew.
