RENT-A-DECK!!!

Welcome, one and all, to the wonderful, new Renting Challenge! Given a choice of pre-made decks, players will put their skills to the test to use these deckbuilds to the best of their ability, and emerge victorious! LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.

Signups are being capped at 32.

2. GETTING READY
Upon signing up, the Organizer will send you six unupped decks, of which you will pick three, and tell the Organizer which three you pick. It is very important that you save these decks!

3. GAMEPLAY
Participants will be sorted into a tourney bracket. It will be single-elimination.
Rounds will last 5-6 days

4. MATCHES
Matches are best of 5.
You may switch between your three decks at any time.
You may not modify your decks in any way unless as specified after a match (see below).

5. AFTER MATCHES
After the match is over, the loser reveals to the winner his or her three decks. The winner may then switch any ONE of his or her decks with one the loser has. When revealing your decks for swapping, make sure to include any upgrades you've made.

He or she (the winner) may also upgrade any three cards in ONE deck. This can be stacked up with multiple wins, but it means no splitting the three upgrades into one for each deck or two for one deck and one for another.

Upgrades are set in stone once applied. Upgrade a pillar, it's stuck as a Tower for the event's remaining duration. This is relevant when swapping decks - the winner may choose to swap a deck for its upgrades

6. HOW TO WIN
Be the last winner standing at the end.

7. REWARD
The winning player will receive a forum icon: .

sounds fun i'll be interested as soon as this event is live. That includes if it is live now

On the topic of shards, I'd say no, however that would be comparing this to the unupped meta of BL where shards are banned by default. To allow for people who don't have the shards, maybe allow the shards to be replaced for in-elements cards? (Unable to be changed after which). Though this may ruin what this event is based around...

Other various rares should be unrestricted.
