Why does religion (or atheism) matter? Almost every religion I've studied (correct me if I'm wrong) contradicts themselves. At one point they'll say that they are open, and that their god is kind, and at another point they'll say "if you're not our religion you may as well be dead." It just makes no sense to me.

Atheism can be biased too. What's the point in it all?

But it's also a problem when you fight back against that. Why don't people see that nothing is going to come of this arguing?

It's all about mind control for the sheeples, used for "higher" purposes. Fear is the main tool for manipulation, there are many but not enough people who have escaped religions.

It matters if your going to go to hell. And the bible, the christian bible is not contradicting, and many things in the bbile have been proven historically, and some things in the bible state true facts that we haven't discovered by science until recently, and the bible was written form God thousands of years ago.

The bible is one of the most often translated books, dating all the way back to when it was made created by eye witness viewers. It is not just a religious book. It is a historical book.

This is the problem people run into. They "study" God. You wont understand God if you just study him, just like how you cant understand a person by just studying them.

And yet, I can actually observe the person, and understand his behavior by observing him. :/ That's studying. I can't 'observe' God, and from what you've said in the past, I apparently haven't had that 'one on one' scenario you keep saying convinced you God is real. So, like I just said, I can't observe or study God, while I CAN observe and study people. I get headaches trying to find the motive of a being content to have dutiful people sent to Hell based on one skeptical mistake about whether or not the existence of a mystical being actually factually happened 2000 years ago.
