The least he could do is actually target Christianity. He's just lumping it all together. He's not even distinguishing between different religions. It's that kind of closemindedness I hate, no matter the content of his rant.

I think it's safe to say that if you live in a country where Christians enjoy almost universal cultural hegemony, and where the natural assumption is that virtually everyone in your audience is likely to be either Christian or have Christianity as their frame of reference for religion in general, saying "religion" when you mean "Christianity" is not entirely unreasonable.

this guy has sound reasoning but he just puts in a way that is just a bit too disrespectful to those who do believe. he's funny though and really does deserve credit and i suppose you could argue: if you don't agree don't watch it.

Now that's really funny, because I get really irritated with people who specifically target Christianity when they claim to be critiquing religion as a whole.  It makes them sound like they have a very specific problem with one single religion, which in turn makes it sound like they haven't ever really considered the other religions at all.
