Belthus brings up a good point, however I don't think we can really consider his point until we look at some of the underlying assumptions/questions.

We first need to understand just when/how/or what it means when conversion takes place. There are some that believe that conversion occurs when someone vocalizes a belief in Christ.  I think it is much more than that. (I'll post my reasoning another time if it is do desired). Then we see whether death-bed conversion is even possible within the definition of conversion. Then we need to ask if Hitler is capable of a death-bed conversion (or if he could be truely converted in the first place).

The other-half of Belthus' point is one that theologians, philosophers, and layman have struggled with for a long time: what happens to those that live "lifetime of good deeds without belief in Jesus"? Was this person ignorant of Christ and his teachings or did he willfully decide not to believe?

Without answering these questions I don't think we can even compare the two.

(Even if we could compare the two, should we? Christ clearly taught that we should not judge people--we do not know their history, thoughts, or motives.)
