I'm casting my vote to be split between Evid3nc3 or QualiaSoup, two inspirational characters on youtube who accurately dissect that which goes to the core of the matter.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Currently the awesomest atheist I know is Ricky Gervais. Seriously.

Of all times, probably Bertrand Russell.

Siddhartha. (aka Buddha)
founder of budhism is atheist ?
(now that i know what agnostic atheist means) yes.
TECHNICALLY all religions are atheist, it just depends on who it is thats looking. a jew is an atheist int he eyes of a christian or a catholic. a christian is an atheist in the eyes of a muslim. do you see the pattern im hinting at?

(I know I'm a bit late, but still.)
Um, not exactly.  If you believe in a deity of any form, you are a theist regardless of perspective.  A Catholic is a theist, even from the perspective of a Muslim - even if you don't agree with their beliefs, you acknowledge them.

Buddhism is an atheist religion in that it is a system of religious beliefs without any deities involved.  Orthodox (Eastern) Buddhism, which includes reincarnation and other beliefs present in most religions, is very different from Zen (Western) Buddhism, which is strictly a way of life.

me............... wait, we are counting agnostic too, right?

Agnosticism isn't really a religious view - it's really a word you would use to describe your religious views.  You can be an agnostic atheist, meaning that you are pretty sure there isn't a god, but not entirely sure, or an agnostic theist, meaning that you kinda believe in a deity, but you're not entirely convinced.

It doesn't really work like this:
               Level of Belief
Theist--------Agnostic--------Atheist

So much as this:
Level of Belief

                  Theist
                      |
                      |
                      |
Gnostic--------+--------Agnostic             What you Believe
                      |
                      |
                      |
                 Atheist
This thing seemed dead inside. It seemed like an automaton, trying to act like as if it was alive. The effect was unsettling.
Orianna made a sound that supposed to a girl's squeal of glee and hugged The Ball. While it might have been touching, it was unfortunately only horrifying.

Well, it depends. There is something known as strong agnosticism and weak agnosticism. Strong agnosticism basically states that we will never be able to find an answer because we will never have enough evidence to support that God exists. Weak agnosticism states that for now we don't know, but maybe in the future, there is evidence to show that God does exist.

I, for one hand, am a deist. A deist is a person who believes in God through secular means. I have a lack of faith, but through the wonders of the world, I believe that God exists.
