Nerd1, do you know how anything about Doctor who at all? regeneration does not work like that. The time lord looses it's old physical appearance to gain a new one in the event (in most cases) to prevent death from a fatal wound (such as a blast of a dalek laser) or just to go with a new, more useful body (like the master did when he encountered the doctor).
