You mean treat others as you treat yourself?! Im hard pressed to find one that won't follow that rule under most circumstances. Also Isn't your god the one that created us knowing how "evil" we are, which would ultimately make it his fault anyways

All right, I'll expound a little. If everyone in the world had ultimate protection(nothing bad ever happened to them), most and/or all people would ignore God. After all, if we see that he does everything for us with or without us obeying him, what reasons would we have for obedience? Sure, you can make the claim that we would do so to get to heaven, but would we? We wouldn't ever see a side of God that disciplines us, so we would believe that God wouldn't ever hurt us, etc.
