Day of Fire is very good.  Their lead singer used to be lead vocalist in the band Full Devil Jacket.

Interesting to find this thread...  I would say that as mentioned before Anberlin is the best... ever.  I also love Shane and Shane, David Crowder, Mae, the list could go on and on

i like the bands puppy listed, though i haven't heard anything by 'Red'
i also like Crowder and Thousand Foot Krutch

I recommend you check out Brandon Heath, Tenth Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets if you like those guys. MercyMe is also very good.

Pretty sure Chevelle was considered "Christian Rock".  Not sure what it is now.  I really like a few of their songs: Forfeit & Closure.
