Favorite Christian Musicians

Okay, for any Christians who play this game...

Who do you like to listen to? Whose music really touches you and lets you worship freely? Here are some of my favorites:

Haha! Yeah, I've played some of Crowder's stuff and it's just too hard to make it sound good enough if you don't have a big enough group with good equipment.

If you've ever played on a worship team, no doubt you've played something by Chris Tomlin or Hillsong.

I'll second Shane and Shane and Hillsong United for worship music.

Additionally, Jason Upton is amazing, as well as David Crowder.

Too bad most of David Crowder's stuff is so hard for worship bands to play well.

unfortunately i don't play guitar or piano, but my all time favorite christian band is jars of clay and if i did could play guitar or piano i would probably spend a great deal of time and money looking up the music of JoC songs to play.

i also like DC talk but their music tends to use a lot of special effects that make it un-freindly toward copying. IMO

Yeah. Not too many straight up christian rock groups. I'd have to say Anberlin is my favorite .

David Crowder concerts are amazing however.  I think I caught him 3 times the year A Collision came out, and all were phenomenal.  They even played with Shane and Shane.

I haven't played in a worship band, just spent a lot of time around them.

I'm really surprised that there are so many people on this forum who listen to Christian music. Isn't it supposed to be really niche genre? Or is Elements a Christian flash game?

Out of all the hundreds of people I know personally, not a single one listens to any kind of religious music. Then again I'm from Europe so maybe it's different.

It's funny how I know a lot about music but I've never heard any of these names mentioned on this thread.
