i have one thing to ask you  and iam really serious:

Maybe this thought is from a bad film or someone else got it but i dont know.

What if we (the humans) were created or taken apart from another planet by aliens with many other races (aliens) and each got planted on a planet to evolve.
And after some time they collect the last Individuals from each planet , so the Knowledge and Genes and Wisdom of the race is retained in these last Individuals.
Just to find the race which is worthy of getting the Super-Aliens Knowledge or for letting all Individulas fight in an Arena for the Entertainment.

I really asked myself.

What do you think of?

They must be awfully patient to do something like that, or time is irrelevant for them. Even so, it just seems like a hell of lot of effort for so little return.

It reminds me of the simulation run by mice in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The answer to the question of Life, the Universe, and Everything was found to be 42, but they had no idea what the question was. So they created the Earth to find out.

And the last handfull of species got all the knowledge descended by their ancestors.

So the Super-Aliens get wiser and powerful
